Cry Monster Cry have released the Official Music Video for their new single, POSTCARDS. The video stars Irish actor Ian Lloyd Anderson who recently received critical praise for his role in the hit show Love/Hate. Having trained at the Gaeity School of Acting, Ian has enjoyed success on both Irish and international television as well as on stage. His roles include the Abbey production of, “The Risen People” as well as roles on The Clinic, Raw, Shadow Dancer and most recently the hit HBO Show, “Game Of Thrones”.
The video is based on a concept written by Jamie Martin and features the band in cameo roles. Shot in two days by Lagoon Pictures, it displays the beautiful vibrancy of Dublin city. The story focuses on a Postman who seems to be in search of something more in his life. The monotony of his daily routine is broken when he comes across a postcard while out on the job. The cinematography features rich colours to create a melancholic dream like world that matches the quick pace of the track.
