Garageland Graduates at The NCH – What a Show!
March 6, 2026Garageland Galaxyz Blast Off for Cruinniú na nÓg 2026 in Fingal, Meath, and Westmeath!
The countdown is on! Garageland Galaxyz is set to land in communities across Ireland for Cruinniú na nÓg 2026, the national day of creativity for young people — and this year, the starship touches down at The Swift Cultural Centre in Trim, County Meath, Swords Castle in Fingal, and Athlone, County Westmeath!
A National Stage for Young Creators
Garageland Galaxyz at Cruinniú na nÓg is an electrifying celebration of youth creativity — a nationwide series of festival-style events where artists aged 12–19 take centre stage in live performances, workshops, and creative collaborations. From solo acts to school ensembles and emerging young bands, every performance bursts with energy, imagination, and connection — all linked through a countrywide live online broadcast uniting young performers from every corner of Ireland.
Powered by Ireland’s Creative Community
Delivered in partnership with local authorities, youth organisations, ETBs, and national music partners — including Music Generation, Foróige, City of Dublin Youth Services, RTÉ, IMRO, Hot Press Magazine, and Sound Training College — the programme has become Ireland’s fastest-growing youth music movement, empowering young artists to create, perform, and connect.
A Proven Success Story
Following the spectacular success of Swords Castle and The Samuel Beckett Plaza, Ballyogan in 2025 — where more than 220 young musicians performed to live audiences in the thousands and attracted over half a million online views — the 2026 edition promises to be bigger, brighter, and louder than ever.
Between 2022 and 2025, Garageland Galaxyz has lit up over 30 stages nationwide — from Ashbourne Library to The National Concert Hall, Dublin — providing hundreds of young artists with a professional, inclusive, and inspiring platform to shine. Its accessible, creative model continues to resonate with the often underrepresented 15–20 age group, offering an alternative path for creativity through music, performance, and technical expression.
Reaching New Heights in 2026
This year’s programme will deepen community engagement across Ireland with pre-event workshops, mentoring opportunities, and full-scale festival productions, expanding creativity, confidence, and collaboration both on stage and online.
“Every year, the energy, talent, and joy we see from young performers is astounding,” said Garageland’s Ayanna Church. “Garageland Galaxyz isn’t just a festival — it’s a movement giving young people a real voice, a real stage, and a real community.”
